here's a great question for you and anyone who's is track savy.. could I or any one of those other riders come around you on your inside (left)?

and what would be your response if someone did?

Haha, I slay myself.

Actually, yes, legally you could. The particular photo was taken just after the start of the 360 race. I was on my way down track.

If this were a finishing sprint, another rider could pass me on the inside since I'm not occupying the Sprinter's Lane. Any good trackie knows that they do a shoulder check before they move up- or down-track, so this should not be a problem.

My response would be to go faster.

Timmer - and actually, Smithers could come under Crosby if he wanted to in that photo. Its only the lead rider who 'owns' the lane. smithers just couldn't uset the blue line to advance - he would have to squeeze, keeping himself in the lane. Or use a knee, shoulder, elbow or head butt to move Bing up track... :-)
