Tee Ball

Stretching

Practice

Home Run

There's one dad there who is really intense. He calls his kid away from the little "huddles" and berates him for mistakes. Dude, they're 5, back off. If I was his kid, I woulda cooled him in the nuts with an aluminum bat. But that's just me.

I just realized that it is called "tee ball" (as opposed to "t-ball") because the kids hit the ball off a "tee"...I never knew what the "t" was supposed to stand for.

Everybody wins in tee ball!

I took my son to "intro to sports" last night and it was refreshing not to see any a**hats that you speak of.

We did do a skills assessment and I was awfully proud of his kicking and hitting performance.

One thing I've learned with my kids and any sports activities is that the #1 thing to having a fun and rewarding experience is simply having a good coach. Forget the parents. There's always going to be some idiots.
