I'm now officially a Cat 2.
Do I have to learn how to do Madison throws now?
This means I can't ride the Cat 3 State Keirin, but I do get a chance at redemption in the 1/2 KOS Keirin on the 30th.
I took a couple weeks off of racing to regroup and regain my enthusiam, and it worked. With nationals only 6 weeks away I've got my motivation back to keep training my ass off.
See ya Saturday (or Sunday if it rains).

Wondering where you've been. Heard the officials mention your name "... Taylor Olson if he shows up..."
Wonder why there are no Keirins for cat 4s?

Let's worry about getting the 4's through the scratch races without crashes first, shall we?

They must have been talking about who would be the first rider to be eliminatated in the Miss & Out.
Now that you're a Cat. 2 you can use Smithers' Miss & Out strategy against him.
Seems like there'd be less chance to crash with only 6 in a Keirin heat. Oh yeah, those Japanese Keirin guys wear body armor.
