Whew!
What a great track season. I had a blast, but I'm ready to relax for a while now. The last few nights I've been drinking more Blue Moon than I should, completely guilt-free. It's fantabulous.
Part of me is glad to have some free time on my hands, but all I think about is what bike I'm going to ride next year, how my training will differ, what sprint tournaments I want to attend...tt's a freakin' sickness is what it is. So for now, I'm going to hit the gym, and I'm not going to do deadlifts. It's gonna be awesome!
I lost my motivation to train about a month prior to Nationals, but I pushed through and made it all the way into mid-October. I'm thinking next year I'll need to modify my schedule a bit to make sure I'm still motivated at the end of the season. Any tips?
Damn.

When I am first to go sub 11.19 that should give you a little motivation. As you know my current max speed is 65.8 kph. I need 1.2 kph more to get to 67 kph. A 67 kph and the correct line will get me there.
Met Goldmember for the first time yesterday. This may give him the nudge to get on the tract again. He knows that it is just a matter of time when his track record falls.
The only question is when the record goes down April or May.
