TdF Stuff

The Green Jersey race is wack. Does anyone actually think that Oscar Freire has been the best sprinter in the tour thus far? Lame.

Ricardo Ricco was doping. Well knock me over with a feather!

How does the media get the doping results before the riders? The lab needs a leak eliminated.

Christian VdV is impressive. A little old to be the "next big thing", but I'm still pulling for him.

Jonathan Vaughters is wicked annoying.

So is Robbie Ventura.

So is every single commercial. Seriously, if you know your commercial is going to be played during EVERY FUCKING BREAK, make it less abrasive.

When it comes to field sprints, Mark Cavendish is unbeatable. And good looking. OK, I admit, I have a bit of a man-crush.

Is it just me, or is there even MORE commentary on doping than in years past. I thought we were supposed to be looking forward?!?!?

Wiggity wack or just regular type wack?

It's not a sprinter's jersey, it's a points jersey.

The best sprinter does not always win the points race.

Touché.

I used to think it was wiggity wack, but now that you've set me straight I just think it's wack.

Someone should let the announcers know that it's not a sprinter's jersey.

I fully expect you to "do the mojito" tonight at the track.

I kinda like the fact that it's not really a 'sprinter's' jersey. If you look at some of the o'Grady/Zabel battles for the jersey in the late 90's - those guys were not the fastest sprinters winning the early stages, but they were the guys who were able to survive the mountains and go in the breaks looking for points in the intermediate sprints.

Dude. Mark Cavendish really isn't that good looking. I think you're just charmed by the British accent.

I wish they'd give Julian Dean some more camera time.

Cav is the best at this Tour. Make no mistake. Next week it could be Freire or Zabel or whomever.

Freire has been one of the best for many years and certainly deserves to win the Green Jersey.

I recon he would smoke any sprinter in Minnesota in the 200 M TT or Keirin.

If you lack a certain body of knowledge in realation to whom you speak, you should simply hold thy tongue. Freire would murder you on the track in any event.

He has come around Zabel, over Cipolinni, he has beat Cavendish many times and showed Robbie Mac a clean set of wheels on more than one occasion.

It is to bad for you Tour rookie. The last couple Tours have been uterly boring. You should rent some from the Indurain, Hinault or Lemond era. OR go back further.

Great stuff.

Or not.

That is up to you. The Tour has lost its edge. It is now marketing and branding. This year they are marketing a clean tour.

As if

Who wants that?

Never the less the Green Jersey is not whack. You are just to Green yourself. Historically, the Green Jersey is anything but whack.

The Polka Dot Jersey is the dumbest of them all! Wow look at that guy take the Polka Dot leaders jersey for winning that sprint/climb in the pancake flat opening stages.

They shouldn't award one til they actually climb a darn mountain!

That mojito commercial is f-ing lame. Drinkin' isn't something you enjoy...it's life sustaining. T, it's ok for you to use wack but Smithers is one of the whiter white men on the planet.
