Actually it's a woman. More specifically a prof at SJU in Astronomy and Physics. Which explains a lot. I made her cry at the store once too. Such an asshole. Oh yeah, she's from Canada!
She rides on River Road at 8MPH. Sure, she could ride on the path, I know I do. River Road is not a road that you should ever bike on.
Take the path. Save your life.
Keep your belongings on your body. A messenger bag. Nothing worse than riding a bike with panniers or a crate on the back (or one side) of your bike every day. Heavy, cumbersome stupid and dangerous.
