I just sold two items for more than I paid for them 2 years ago.
Do people really get so caught up in a bidding frenzy that they will pay retail prices (plus shipping) for used items? Is the victory that gratifying? Do they now have massive buyers' remorse?
Shit, like I care. I gotcha money!

So this has nothing to do with ebay, but the email feature doesnt work to contact you... What kind of olympic bar are you using. I was looking at getting a york bar, but dont want to spend the extra cash on getting one that is specific for olympic lifts. The one I was looking at is for "static" lifts and the guy said he wouldnt use them for olympic lifts. But i dont think i have ever used an actuall "olympic bar" with needle bearings etc. Where did you get yours? What kind?
Mine is relatively cheap and simple. It's made by CAP Barbell, and I bought it at Dunham's Discount Sports. In my experience, there's no noticeable difference between a cheap bar and a more expensive one.
BTW - contact feature works for me. Send to tenacioustblog at gmail dot com.
I agree you do not need to spend the extra money for the needle bearing models. I have had my bar for almost 15 years. I lift and average 150 to 170 times per year without bar failure. Most the chrome is worn off the bar where the plates slide on. That is the only sign of wear.
I know. I sold a used chain once on Ebay and got $8.50.
