You obviously are not from St. Cloud. As far as I know, this is our first level-3 offender. There's a huge - HUGE - public frenzy about this.
A lot of people assume this is a safe place, where you can let your kids walk to a friend's house by themselves, or go play at the park. That perceptions is quickly changing here.
And yes, we SHOULD whip up a frenzy about perverts, drunk drivers, etc...because we shouldn't just accept it as part of life. If you want to just "deal with it", that's up to you.

I have two kids, ages 3 and 6, and perceive "a-hole drivers" to be a bigger threat (to myself/family) than ONE GUY of whom you know have a photo.
