I was in an odd mood last night...really mellow, which, if you know me, is odd. I felt like going for a ride to check out the backroads around my new pad. The roads are essentially empty, so I figured I'd be OK to bring my iPod. No computer, no training, just a nice relaxing ride.
The weather was perfect, the roads were great, and I had the kind of ride that "people who just love riding" seem to wax poetic about. I didn't want it to end...I rode till dark.
Just what I needed to get me back on track (no pun intended. OK, fine. Pun intended).
